§ 98-34. Designated public parking spaces for certain handicapped persons.

  • No person shall park, stand or stop any vehicle in any designated public parking space located on county-owned or leased property or private property within the unincorporated areas of the county, unless such vehicle displays a parking permit issued pursuant to F.S. § 320.0848, and such vehicle is transporting a handicapped person eligible for such parking permit. However, any person who is chauffeuring a handicapped person shall be allowed, without need for a parking permit, momentary parking in a designated public parking space for the purpose of loading or unloading such handicapped person.
